Welcome to Flivvers at the River, the new home to the Gambler 500 "Run Gifford Run" poker rally run and forest trash clean up, and the new Lewis County location for Dirt Track Car racing. We are honored to host these great events, and to help raise money for the Veteran's Memorial Museum, in Chehalis, at the same time.

All of the proceeds for the Poker Rally Run, for camping, and for the Gambler 500 tshirts, go to the Veteran's Memorial Museum. This registration site is built by Rock to River Events, LLC. The funds collected through this portal will be paid to the Museum.

WHAT is RUN GIFFORD RUN?

This is a Road Rally/Poker Run that also functions as a trash clean-up throughout the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. For $20 you receive a map with "cache" coordinates where you can find reported sites with garbage in the forest. The map begins in Randle, WA, and creates a loop taking in the towns of Randle, Packwood, Ashford, Elbe, Mineral, Morton, and Glenoma. It also takes in many miles of off-road forest travel including the 25 Road toward Mt. St. Helens as well as the 23 Road and 21 Road toward Mt. Adams, and the 52 Road through Skate Creek.

The Run begins at 8:00am at the Check-In coordinates listed in the schedule below. You will receive a map, which you can follow in any order. The goal is to pick up as much garbage as possible along the map route. Deviations onto other forest roads are acceptable as long as you follow the basic course.
Scattered along the map, will be five businesses marked as "Poker Run Stops" and seven businesses marked as "Scrabble Stops".
-- Each Poker Run Stop will have a business sticker that you must collect to be able to receive a card for your poker hand at the end of the Rally.
1 Sticker = 1 Poker Card
-- Each Scrabble Stop will have a bag of Scrabble Letters that you will draw out of. Your Scrabble letter and value will be marked on your Rally Card by the business attendant. At the end of the Rally, you will create a word with the highest point value possible using the letters that you have acquired. The winner is determined first by Highest Point Value, Longest Word, Highest PV Letter, and then Admin Choice.

The Run will end at 6:00pm at the Return Coordinates listed in the schedule below. Awards will take place at 7:00pm.

8:00 AMRally Check-in & Late Registration at Base Station

Pre-register online so we can have your driver's packet ready to go for you. All you will have to do is state your name at check in, pick up your packet and your pre-ordered Tshirts, then you will be off on the Rally trail.
You may pay online or at the event check-in, but you will be required to register either way. This is for our records only, to gather data to be used in applying for grant funding for this event.

This same required registration/check-in system will be used on Saturday, Aug 3th for Rally registration/check-in, so you can fill this stuff out now, or do it on race day. Doing it now will allow you to order Tshirts in the sizes you want, rather than only getting what is left over. :)

A Camping Pass is INCLUDED with Poker Rally Run registration.

RELEASE and WAIVER of LIABILITY FORM

First and foremost, I understand that operating a motor vehicle or motorcycle is an activity that precludes, and contains, considerable risk of serious personal injury, paralysis, dismemberment, property damage and/or loss, or death.
I am of sound mind and body, and of legal age to sign this document. I hereby, knowingly and freely, accept the risks, as a driver or passenger, of all personal injury and/or property damage arising from my participation in the 2024 Run Gifford Run-Gambler 500 Poker Rally Run. I hereby agree, that I, my dependents, heirs, accessors, executors, and assigns, do release, hold harmless against, and indemnify, the Veterans Memorial Museum (VMM), Rock to River Events LLC, Flivvers at the River, Cowlitz River Rentals, Guy and Hazelanna McMahan, Randle Fire & EMS-Lewis Dist. 21D14, and all sponsors, owners, employees, volunteers, family, and agents associated with these entities, from any and all claims, including claims for death, bodily injury, illness, property damage or loss, regardless of any cause arising from, or related to, the 2024 Run Gifford Run-Gambler 500 Poker Rally Run, even if arising from the negligence of others.
I agree to participate in the 2024 Run Gifford Run Gambler 500 Poker Rally Run within my driving ability on all paved and unpaved roads, byways, and trails. I will obey all traffic laws and regulations. I will obey "trail etiquette". I take full responsibility for my own actions, and will not be influenced by the actions of others. I fully understand that I may encounter roads, trails, and trail conditions that I have not traveled before, nor have prior knowledge of, and therefore will drive within a manner that is considered safe for those conditions, for myself and others around me. Furthermore, I agree that I will not, in any circumstance, drive my vehicle, be it my own, rented or borrowed, on the 2024 Run Gifford Run-Gambler 500 Poker Rally Run, beyond what is commonly considered a safe manner.
I hereby release, hold harmless, and promise to not sue, the Veterans Memorial Museum (VMM), Rock to River Events, Flivvers at the River, Cowlitz River Rentals, Guy and Hazelanna McMahan, Randle Fire & EMS-Lewis Dist. 21D14, any and all sponsors, officers, owners, directors, employees, volunteers, family, or agents associated with these entities (collectively "releases") with respect to any and all bodily injury and/or other loss resulting from my participation in the 2024 Run Gifford Run-Gambler 500 Poker Rally Run, whether as a passenger or operator of a motor vehicle or motorcycle, whether caused by negligence of the releases, or otherwise, during any respect associated from operating or riding in or on my own vehicle, rented vehicle, or borrowed vehicle.
In addition, by payment of registration and/or my signature on this form, I certify that I do not have any physical or mental condition, or disability, that would create a hazard for fellow participants or myself. I certify that I am 18 years of age or older, and I am in possession of a valid driver's license, or that I am a passenger of legal age, or if I am under the age of 18, that I have consent from legal parent or guardian. My vehicle is currently registered and licensed, meets or exceeds the insurance requirements of the State of Washington, and is street legal. I, the participant, be it as a vehicle driver or passenger, have read this Release and Waiver of Responsibility Agreement and will abide by all terms as stated herein. I hereby agree this Release and Waiver of Responsibility shall be binding upon, and enforceable against, me, my personal representatives, spouses, assigns, heirs, and next of kin without limitation.
I have read and understand the terms of the Release and Waiver of Responsibility that I am about to sign. I further understand that the 2024 Run Gifford Run-Gambler 500 Poker Rally Run cannot accept any participant, be it operator or passenger, without a duly signed Release and Waiver of Responsibility form.
I understand clearly that I have given up substantial rights by signing this Release and Waiver of Responsibility, and I have signed freely and voluntarily, without any inducement, assurance, or guarantee being made to me. I intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
